Ms Access XP VB code for getting data from user in a form and Creating new record

I am new to MS Access. I am using MS office XP. I want to get details from user in a form using unbound text boxes (with the same data type in the table fields), create a new record in the table and update/fill new record fields with the details obtained in the form with message " new record created" can you help me to get VBA code for the same.
Thanks in advance.
