i want to insert hyperlinks to table fields from with in a word doc.vb6.sqlserver.

I m working on an Archives database using sql server 2k and vb6. The requirement is that word documents be saved with in sql server as they may be accidentally deleted from hard disk but will remain secure in database.
I have already saved doc files in image data field using binary format. i can retrieve them back cleanly. but i have to insert hyperlinks inside word docs to other word docs saved in data base. How can i insert hyperlink to database fields in same or other table?
I would be immensely obliged for an ASAP reply. Thanks in advance.
