Time Format?

I want to get System Time format (Is it hh:mm:ss, hh:mm:ss AM/PM, h:mm:ss or so?) and save it in a variable. Then set it to 24 hours format. Then set it to 12 hour format (i.e. AM or PM). After doing some calculations want to reset to original format. How to accomplish it in VB6?
