How to link Visual basic with Mysql Library

Hi all,

I have a 'Mysql' database with lots of tables. I want to extract some of the data from that with the help of Visual basic. Can you please help me how Mysql library can be called from Visual basic "Like, if I write a code in visual basic, It should directly take the given database and extraction should be done", and what are plug-in's should I need to add to run the program for extracting a particular data.

Thanks in advance

Regards
Siva
