How to install updates through VB SETUP

I've created a VB application under Windows XP platform & also created its 'Executable Setup File'.

Now, the problem is that,
When I try to install that program in some other OS [like Win 98/2000 etc.]
I'm getting trouble with colours display. Its not displaying the color as it was in Original application. And also in some systems, while installing getting message like "Some of your system files are of outdated." .

Is it possible to write code in VB6.0, so that the SETUP application itself install required updates if it isn't found in any particular systems..

Please help me for this Question...SO that really I'm greatful to U.

Thanks
