ActiveDocument.MailMerge.OpenDataSource stucks sometime

We have some process which imports data from comma separated, plain text file into word template. Upon initiating ActiveDocument.MailMerge.OpenDataSource the process stucks some times (no error message is displayed), after killing the process and rerunning it it finishes successfully. We cannot predict when the process will stuck or finish successfully.

Can anybody tell me the possible causes of this problem?
