Creating our own login in VB

Hello ppl, in one of my programs i have to create username and password........ is there anything inbuilt in VB about not showing what is being written.

try using the "password char" property

ya..if you set password char property to *,it masks all the entered text and displays it only using *,but you can access the real text entered by text1.text in your code. isn't it wonderful that vb has this feature inbuilt?
