how do i connect VB 2008 application to microsoft Access 2003 database
Use OLEDBConnection. But you'll need the proper syntax for the connection string.

Here is the connectionString example. Of course, replace the database (mdb) with your mdb:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\mydatabase.mdb;User Id=admin;Password=;
