Application Freeze problem

Hi,
I had VB6 Code which will process all the records present in the Text file and does some actions. I had made this as Loop and i had kept the Progress Bar in the form to show the status of the loop. During run time of the program, when i switched to some other application in Windows my program loop getting freezed and the progress bar is still not showing any further progress.(But still the program was runnning perfectly in the bakground by processing all the records in the Text file). Please help me how to regain the progrees bar latest progress though i switched to other applications and come back to my program.

How are you dealing with your progress bar??
have you tried using DoEvents inside the loop?
when it freezes, you can always press ctrl+break (ctrl+pause) to pause it and debug it.

Thanks Kadghar.

I didn't include DoEvents in my program before. Now its working fine and the prgress is also refreshed properly.

Once again Thank you so much.
