Image in mysql database

hello all, i am making a database to hold some scanned pdf's so i was wondering how would i go about saving them in the mysql database? would i put the file in the database or just link to it? so if somebody could please help me with inserting the image into the database and getting it back out or putting the image path in the database and getting it back out that would be awesome!!

I don't know exactly how you go about storing an image in MySQL - you probably should ask about that in the MySQL forum.

And I would suggest that whether to store the actual image or a link is not a programming decision. It can almost certainly be done either way, and would be a business decision as to which way to go.
