Calling Executable from VB6.0 Code

Hi I have a executable called c:\x.fsm

I tried to call it at the click event using

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SHELL "c:\x.fsm"
  2.  
but it doent seem to work.

Can anyone help me with this please.

What error message are you getting? What kind of file is .fsm? Try

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SHELL "path_to_executable_that_runs_fsm_files c:\x.fsm"

I converted the fsm to exe and it worked .... thanx a lot
