Installated VB application does find a DB

Hi all
Have been into a problem of not finding the database of the VB application which i have been installed in the Vista machine.
The installation of the software takes place normally in all the other operating systems except Vista.
The basic problem is tat the VB application always finds the DB in its application folder even though the Data Base is deleted.
Not sure where does that DB come from which makes the application to work as usual.
And the copy of DB doesn't remain to be the current one with which the application works.
This is not the behavior that its expected. Can anyone help me out??

Well i got to say vista is different form all the rest.......
it has a restore system where you can restore your database.....or even convert it to a version you had of it ages ago.................
So much for deleting unwanted data and making it disappear huh??
Probably .......the system is using a hidden version of the data....or is using a version of the databse only the pc has access to...
Just a question why....is it a problem that the application works ok??
I'd be more worried if i wasn't working......
