Runtime error -2147467259 (80004005)

P: 1
I need some help.
I have a PC with Windows Vista and Office 2007
When I open the Excel program I get the following message:

Runtime error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Method 'Add' of object 'CommandBarControls' failed

I can just ignore the message by clicking End, and still work with the program, but it is very annoying...

Can anyone help me?

Why don't you try to reinstall your Office 2007? Hehe..

ever find a solution? I have the same problem, but it only exists on 1 profile. When using Excel on an second profile, it works like new.

- I just had to fix one of these today. It was one of the add-ins for Excel.

Go to Office Button>Excel Options...>Add-ins

Then the Manage Excel Add-ins [GO] at the bottom and uncheck all. Restart Excel ... Mine was a "documents to go" add-in.

THANK YOU!! This was precisely the fix I needed. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure the cause of the problem is that Documents to Go works with Excel 2003, and the Excel I am using is 2007 - In any case, it worked, so thx again.
