sure, open an excel application and insert it:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. dim obj1 as object
  2. set obj1 = createobject("excel.application")
  3. obj1.workbooks.add 'or .open("c:\mybook.xls")
  4. obj1.activesheet.pictures.insert("c:\meShowingMy.jpg").select
  5. obj1.visible=true 'this is optional, but if you want to see the file you're actually working with, is an option you should consider
well that's it HTH
