1. Before inserting the user credentials, check for existence of the usename.
2. Check bo the password are not different (including case).
3. Also check for existence of mailid.

4. If all the above three are ok then proceed further.

In addition, put also a validation for null value.

I would...

Create a function 'validate'

Use a series of If statements to validate the form...
such as

If txtpass1 <> txtpass2 Then
error = error + 1
End If
'to check if password fields are the same

Function returns 'error'

Last of all:
If error <> 0 Then don't go to next stage else go to next stage...

Small NOTE: it's regIstration not regEstration

Hey need all code for this form. I mean a code which checks availability and do something like yahoo! account registration form?
Which checks and show you some user names which didn't conflicts.

You have also a database in background what type of database is and what controls you are using like access, sql, oracle and ADODB, ADODC etc.

And this style for a registration form is not good looking. For graphically good looking form i can help you.

You can also mail me or contact me at Yahoo! messenger if you need further help. You will find my email address in my profile (click on my name or avatar).

Regards

I've corrected this, along with "existance". Didn't fix "bo" because I don't know what it was intended to say.
