connecting to databases

hi
please get me out of this trouble of getting connected to the databases
i lost my adodc and i lost my hope to get it back .please let me know if there is any other activex which works just like adodc with access & can give extra performance .and also give me the code used to connect to the database throug the activex

i dont find adodc in the components list even after putting it several times manually
what may cause this weird problem
i lost adodc
any other data control which works like adodc????????????

Why don't you connect to the database by programming; It't not tought to do that. You can create a module and keep you your code there and connect to databse by calling that module.

After a long time of vacation, I'm back again LOL... Why don't you reinstall the Visual Studio? Creative1's suggestion is fine but if your program is large then you will find hard time to change it : )
