Close MS Word document through VB 6.0

Hay,

I can able to open a word document and also I can able to close the word document but the problem is the WINWORD exist in the taskbar, because of this the 2nd word document cannnot able to open.

Any one can give the solution for this

Greetings, Prabakar!

I sense you are saying it looks like word is still open. If you could post the code, it would be great. I believe you'll need to reflect YourWordDoc = Nothing after closing it in order for it to vanish completely; just an assumption you'd have to try it yourself.

Also, I would search here in case examples are posted. I will be modifying your title to add VB 6.0 to it.

this problem has gained popularity this days.

the solution that has worked for me is to make the msword application visible, then close it normaly. it'll flash on the screen, but you'll get rid of it
