What sort of application you are developing that requires you to have more than 50 main menu items.

Hi,

Max Controls on MDI form is 255. This Includes Menus, Picture Boxes, TextBoxes, Labels etc....
When you are developing a Real-time Application, this definately is a Limit. What you can do is Group Similar Kind of Menus and make them Menu-Arrays.
This is done by keeping the Menu Name Same and Changing the Index Property. Say you have 5 Master Items like CustomerMaster, Product Master, SalesMan Master, so-on.......
Make a Single Menu: mnuMaster and Change Index of them.
and in event, mnuMaster_Click, Index is passed.
Using Select Case on the Index, do the appropriate action.
This way you can have large number of Controls on the MDI.

In Vb you can create menus upto 4 th level not beyond that .

Try to devide the menu as per functionality into different main menus.
