Access/Excel link for data download and upload - interesting bug

1
Hi

I am using an ADODB connection to link up an Access database to my core spreadsheet tool. I have created a loop to repeatedly:
- download data from Access
- analyse it in Excel, with data manipulation in Excel
- upload the new data into Access

This is working perfectly well for the first 15 iterations or so, after which I get this error message:

Data file: 'C:\JC\JC dev.mdb' not found
Would you like to connect to C:\JC\JC dev.mdb instead?

The macro then crashes regardless of which option I pick.

Any ideas? As I said, the worrying bit is that my code works for a number of iterations before crashing. I can't see any obvious issue with the underlying data so I'm guessing there is something wrong with my connection set up.

Cheers!

JC
