New Line in vb code

hi all,
i have to create a little help pop up window. in that pop up window, it will list a whole bunch of stuff but in a new line.

right now, my code looks like this:
msgbox "item1" & vbnewline & "item2" & vbnewline & "item3" & ........... "item79"

is there a way to bring each "& vbnewline" to the next line in the actually code so i can see them much clearer?

i want the code to look something like this:

msgbox "item1"
& vbnewline
& "item2"
& vbnewline
etc.....

I think you can try it this way:

msgbox "item 1" _
& vbnewline _
& "item 2" _
& vbnewline _
& "item 3" _
...

Important is the space before the underscore, else it won't work.
