genreate report in .ods format

Hi,
I am generating report in .xls form but this is creating problem where Microsoft Excel is not install so is there any way by which i can generate my report in different format depend upon software install in system . i am using vb 6.0.

Then you need to generate the report in .TXT format .

That can be opened in any system .
