how to display message in msgbox

Hello,

I'm doing a project in vb 6.0 now i have a flex grid which contains some values and it has 2 columns now when the user clicks on the any cell of second column i want the corresponding values from backend table to be displayed in a msgbox . I'm able to print this in 3rd column but not in msgbox whtever i do it's empty .So plz help me with the code.

Msgbox("hi")
or
Msgbox(a)-as in variable a

try that?
