Deleting Records

I want to delete a record from a database.
I m using vb6 and msaccess and os is xp.

Your missing one thing: data access strategy.

This can be DAO (data access objects) or ADO (ActiveX Data Objects). You can also use controls in VB (ADO Data Control) or the Data Environment object.

If you like to code, use DAO or ADO.
Otherwise, use the Data Control or Data Environment.

Personally, i'de use ADO to open the Access database. More control.
Its up to you. Good luck.

learn SQL and use a DELETE statement to delete the record you need.

send the SQL command to the ADODB.Connection object using Execute.
