how to retrive the data frm txtbox in vb Character vise....

Hi,
I have to retrieve the data I'm receiving from comm port into the textbox character by character, as using the 1st 3 char I will do something and then by next char up to next 6 character I have to display them separately in another label.
Can anyone help....I'm in need...help

Hi,

Use "MSComm" Control, to receive data from the Port..
