VB3 Dilemma

Hello,

I have an old app in VB3 Pro that I wish to re-code in VB 6 or better platform.

My project was saved in binary mode, using the old .mak .frm . bas file extensions. I just need to read them over and re-code the project from scratch.

I need to extract or print out all the code, in essence have somebody open my project in vb3 pro and save all files as text, and have them sent back to me. If anyone is willing to do this, I would greatly appreciate it. it is a small app, 1 bas file, 1 mak file, and maybe 5-7 simple .frm files only.

Or find a way to do this without having vb3 on my system. My discs are long gone and I do not wish to buy/download vb3 again for one old app.

Please help, please email to me at <Removed by Moderator> or reply to this post.

Thanks in advance.

Update:

I found my old install disks, but I cannot install vb3 on my win xp PC.

During install, it errors on the decompression of the first file stating:

Cannot open file <drive/path/filename>
with abort/retry/ignore dialogue box, please help if anyone has encountered this.
