Finding a row using V.Basic 2005

I am new to Visual Basic (have not used since version 1 !!) but am trying to learn a new language (have had experience with Delphi ). I have an existing database created in VB 2005 of a Master Table with a Date keyfield and various other integer fields. This is linked to nine Child Tables all with a Date Keyfield and one Float field. This is working fine after lots of trial and error. This is viewed using TextBoxes for the Float fields and Checkboxes for the Integer fields - Checked if > 0 and Unchecked if 0. The Date of the Master Table is viewed using a DateTime Component. This is all working.
What I have failed to get working is the Master Table changing to a new date in the DateTime Component so that I dont have to scroll through a whole lot of data to get to something in the middle.
Please help !!

Dont questions get answered here
well they do if people want to answer them

did you read the guidelines to the right ????

you are suposed to put your code in code brackets and write clearly !!!

noone is going to even read youe post if you don't make it visually appealing

if you write here like you write in your programming then it probably doesn't work because of human error that you can't even see because of all the clutter

use white space (blank lines) it makes it sooo much easer to read.

Now as for your question, i personally dont know what your going on about, but maybe if you change your post so its a little easer on the eyes then someone might answer you!!

no hard feelings at all
