Hi again,
I have a question regarding how to control one form's values from another form. I have figured out that the best spot for this control comes from the OKButton on a form called "receptor". Based on the value of one of the option buttons chosen in this form, i want to set the value of a set of textboxes to zero in another form called "frmrisksettings".
So far, all my ideas for controlling this have failed. any ideas? Below is the last thing i tried that i was sure should work in the form "receptor". I dont think i need to make any changes to the other form.
To clarify, if Option1(0) or Option1(1) are selected, then the values should be those found in the default file, and no changes should occur.
' set default values
If Option1(2).Value = True Then
frmrisksettings!Text9(i).text = 0
frmrisksettings!Text9(i).Enabled = False
End If
Within the frmrisksettings, Text9(i).text belongs to a variable called:
risksetGroup(3, i), where i goes from 0 to 2. this "i" however, does not correspond to the same "i" of the option button above. It is a separate deal.
Thanks!
