VB6, How to spy on a folder, to see if there anyone writes a file into it.

Hello gentlemen,

I intend to monitor a certain folder and once someone creates a file into it, the program can read it and then delete it automatically. I know I can use timer to access this folder constantly, but I also wander if there is any system event which can trigger this VB6 process. I have checked on the web, there seems only VB.Net can do that via SystemFileWatcher. Thanks!

Best regards,
Green
