Vb6 Script to big

Ok, so obviously have written a script that exceeds parameters of 64k (according to the error). The obvious solution is to condense the script till it fits, but the problem is the script cannot be condensed as it is single line entries, like below:

(vb)
WSa1.Cells(1, 1).Value = Settings1.Text5.Text

There are a few hundered lines of it.
Cannot leave any out as then the result would not work. What to do now, anyone have a soluton for me.

Do you need and numeric value of text5? You may consider converting that to long, double or integer before putting it to the cell.

WSa1.Cells(1, 1).Value = cdbl(Settings1.Text5.Text)

or

WSa1.Cells(1, 1) = Settings1.Text5.Text

the latter, if you all you need is a text / string value
