Find() for calender items not working

Hi there,
I'm using the find and findNext functions to retrieve appointments from the calendar but for some reason it either returns none at all or all items. This is the string I use:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.     strFind = "[Start] <= '" & Format(appt.start) & "'"
  2.     Set foundAppt = calItems.Find(strFind)
  3.
appt is a Outlook.AppointmentItem variable that is recieved in the inbox.

Any advice?

If that's a date/time value, it probably should be delimited with # rather than ' and formatted as per the SQL standard, which I think is mm/dd/yyyy. For further info on this, check out the tips and tricks in the Access articles area. Date/time issues are covered quite well there.
