Help remembering the name of a site.

I remember ages ago, there existed a site that was really top notch. In
fact, it was probably one of the top 5 sites for Visual Basic.

I remember too, that at some point they put up a blurb stating that they
simply could not continue the site for whatever reasons and that it may one
die disappear from the net.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? If so, could you tell me the name?
