Help Needed in referencing dll

Hai,

I am having a VB source code, using that i want to create a dll. But inside the API we are using some Actuate dll 's, so before creating dll file using VB code i tried to reference the Actuate dll ( Project - Refernce), but its giving me the error msg saying :"cant able to reference the specified file"

After searching internet, i found that first we should register the that dll(Actuate dll), so i tried registering that aswell....but at that time also i am getting error message saying "dll was loaded, but the DllRegistryServer entry point was not found. This file can not be registered."

I am very new to VB technology....so please help me in resolving this issue.

Note: Actuate is a reporting tool. Actuate dll created while i am installing Actuate in my machine.

Thanks in advance !!!
