Updating a textbox

Hi, i'm working on creating Dice in Excel 2000 and i'm having some trouble. My VB code says

Worksheets("Board").TextBox1.Value = Round((Rnd() * (6 - 1) + 1), 0)
Worksheets("Board").TextBox2.Value = Round((Rnd() * (6 - 1) + 1), 0)

But for some reason the values in TextBox1 and 2 don't update until the entire Sub has run whereas i want it updating instantly. Does anybody know how to achieve this?

Also does anybody have a better code for creating a random Dice number as the above code tends to create the same sequence of numbers everytime.

Thanks in advance

Just based on what I know from VB6, you might try putting DoEvents after these two statements. If it's supported, that is. DoEvents allows Windows to go off and do other urgent stuff like updating the display.

That doesn't seem to work either, the code seems to be accepted but the text boxes are still not updated

Have you tried refreshing the form?

I've used ThisWorkbook.RefreshAll and that hasn't worked either :(

Hm... sorry, I don't have any experience with userforms in Excel. I'll try to find some time to check it out over the weekend.

In the meantime, try plenty of searching on the web, and see what you can come up with.
