Responding to text in a game (VB2005)

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this. Please forgive me if it is.

I'm making a program that responds to people in a game. Such as, if people write the F-word, that this program reads it and replies as "Language warning to <playername>". Where playername is it should put the player's name which is in front of the message.

The game doesn't have any external chatlogs so that's a thing I didn't attempt to try and read it from.
I also haven't got any working code yet.

Does anyone know a way how it can read from the chatposition, and use Sendkeys to write the message if certain words are on the chat ?

Thanks in advance,

Anyone ?

I think I found the chatposition with help from someone and a program called Tsearch. I think It should be located at: 0000DE7259. Though he doesn't know how to proceed, so thats why I'm asking here.

Does anyone know how it can read ascii from that position till a certain character ?

Thanks in advance,
