Adding Pictures

Hello all,
I am new at VB so please bear with me. That being said, I am creating a form in Word. I Have the need for pictures to be added, by the user, to the protected form. Is there a way to do this? I have been stumbling around trying different things but not succeeding.

I did search through 20+ pages here and didn't find what I needed.

I am using VB 6.3

Thanks

I don't fully understand what you want to do.
Do you want the user to be able to find a file, if so you would use the find file dialog?
Do you want to store that image in a database field? In which case you would store it as a BLOB and I can give you a simple little piece of code to do that. or
Do you want to just store the path to the image? and then just point the source of an image control to it.

Yes, and insert that file to the form.

What find file dialog? (please forgive my ignorance)

No I don't want to just store the path. I need the picture made part of the document.

A little background for you (should have said this in the beginning). I am creating a fill in form for a security incident report that needs to show pictures as part of the report. I need to make it as easy and foolproof as possible (if that's possible). I have created this in MS Word and have entered some VB script for items that word won't do.

Hope I was able to answer you questions OK.
