Excel VBA Question - Locating a Cell using listboxes

I am new to VBA and am trying to get this project done, so any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to create a userform that will input the total hours worked by an employee into an excel sheet. there are many sheets, each for a particular task. The first two selections are listboxes in which the user will select the employee's name and the date.

The worksheets all look the same, with the names in the "A" column and the dates on "5" row. What I need this to do is:
(a) target the cell that the input should go into (ie. find the row that Tommy is on and then find the column with that particular date)
(b) remember that cell name when inputting the values for all the tasks, which will then go to its corresponding sheet (ie. task4 for tommy --> cell X12 in sheet task4; task6 for tommy --> X12 in sheet task6; etc)
(c) erasing that cell name when i finish and go to another employee.

it's getting the listboxes to work where my problem lies.
