date picker problem

hi, my question is i have two date picker on the form datepicker1 and datepicker2 when i click on them will be query on the datagrid1 i connect via mysql, Private mysql As cMysql Private mrec As ADODB.Recordset also my format yyyy-mm-dd on database how i adjust the date picker that.I use vb6

if the field in database have date-time type, so u dont worry about how does it display. yyyy-mm-dd just only a display type of date time (in the database, its stored as number). U can compare two date-time value at any display type.
If u still like specify format. So do these step:
+ right click on DateTime Picker and choose property
+ From format combo, choose 3-dtpCustom
+ On customformat textbox, type in: yyyy-MM-dd
+ click ok and see the display type of date time value
