If I execute a Batch File can I check if it is still running through code?

I don't know if this will work but just some ideas.

If the batch file is a process, then it has a processID which you can look at, generally the name.

or

at the end of the batch file have it write a flag in a file then in .NEY use the filesystemwatcher to watch that file for modifications when the file is modified then the batch is done.

good luck and happy coding

Thanks I was thinking about just having it echo and create a textfile as the last line in the batch. I guess just a less advanced way of doing the same thing but being able to have like a If batch.done = True would be a lot better. So if anyone else nows something similar to that please let me know
