killer 32 can u give me the hint how to transfer data in the textbox and rich text box using the samo code.is that any way to overwrite the exixsting file and save after it changed the data.
If you have the modified version of the data in a byte array, you can just open the file for binary mode and
Put the array back to the file.
As for showing the changes in a textbox or richtextbox, that's easy. Instead of using
Debug.Print just append it to the
.Text property of the desired control. I recommend also adding the constant
vbNewLine to the end each time, to insert a line break.
For a listbox, you would use the
AddItem method to add each line, and don't bother about the line break.
