How can make a button in a form using VB that can make up a backup for my database?

Yes, a lot will depend on such questions as...
  • What version of VB are you using?
  • What kind of database?
    Access keeps an entire database in a single file, while some other types may span a whole bunch of files, usually together in a directory. This may make a big difference to the procedure.
  • What do you mean, exactly, by "back up"? For instance, do you want to:
    • Copy data to a "backup" database?
      If so, all the data or only what has been added/modified?
    • Just copy the database file(s) to another location?
    • Initiate some sort of actual backup software, such as Window Backup, Ghost, or whatever?
  • Will anyone be using the database at the time?
As you can see, it's not as simple a question as it sounds.

Hey there well I don't know about the button thing but I think you should go for www.oracleplace.com they help me out in resolving my database issues hope this will help you out too.
