saving form contents to file (and emailing?) ideas?

1
Hi, I am a newcomer to VB, (just about to complete my introductory course). I have developed a feedback form where users can input their personal details (name, telephone etc) as well as feedback comments.

What I would like to be able to do is capture the text they enter into the various textboxes (or a copy of the completed form if possible) and save it to file. The file would have to have some kind of formatting, I would like to save not just the response but the question as well.

In the form is a listbox for the user to select which person the feedback goes to. Is there a way, once the txt file has been saved to automatically generate an email with the contents of the txt file as an attachment?

This might be a stretch but since I am new it might be simple to many folks.

Any ideas or could someone point me to some reference materials that might help. I don't mind reading up on things and figuring it out myself (if I can).

Thanks for any ideas you might have.

I can do this in Access, but I need to tell you if you could post your code, experts here should be able to see your post and help or at least offer some sort of advice on this. Again, I am sure it is possible, I just have not touched it yet.

If you have Access try a form and look up the code, should be at least similar to VB. If nothing, please stay tuned!
