Copy lines from text file to textbox

Hey, im new to VB6 and i want to know how to get visual basic to read multiple lines of a .txt file and show them in an input box, im looking ot get at least 6 line at once in an input box...Coding would be a bonus :)

If you have a look at the index of articles, we have a couple of fairly simple code snippets that show how to read a text file in VB6.

As for putting them in textbox, that should be fairly simple. Just make sure you set the textbox control's .Multiline property to True, then concatenate each line of text to it, adding the constant vbNewLine in between.

String concatenation is a crucial skill that you'll need to learn if you haven't used it yet. Check out the documentation, or search the web for VB tutorials.

Um... What are you referring to as "an input box"?
