Problem in Import text file to VB

Eny one knows how to import part of (specified location of text file, row location,text width,line no )of a text file to VB.Net.Pls

Eny one knows how to import part of (specified location of text file, row location,text width,line no )of a text file to VB.Net.Pls
I think that depends on what you want to import it to. Are you using VB to drive a database or spreadsheet or something? Do you want to load it into an array? More detail, please.

However, I'd suggest that your simplest option might be to use the FileSystemObject to read the file line by line, then Mid() function to grab the desired part of each line.
