Populating a listbox with records from access

Hi forum,

I have been trying to figure this out for a while now, i thought it would be quite simple but has proved difficult as i am a learner. basicly i want to populate a list or combo box with records from an access 2000 table any guidelines and help would be much appriciated. i have searched google and found a few tutorials but they are mainly code and quite hard to understand. i am able to program in VB sufficiently just never used listbox/combo box with access nor populated it.

Thanks for your time

If you are trying to populate a list/combo inside access with vba you may want to post over in the Access database forum. If you are trying to do with with VB, show a little bit of what you already have written if possible.

try this code:
con=the connection
rs.open"select * from table",con,3,3
int index=0;
do
combo.list(index)=rs.fields("fields1")
index++
while not (rs.eof)

just try and explore what are the function of these codes...
by the way,next just show to us your codes in order for us to fix it
