Embedding Excel sheet for printing

Hi all,

I want to embedd Excel sheet into my application for "Bill" printing.

I dont need to modify contents as Bill data is already saved in database through another interface.

I just want to see 'excel sheet like interface' on VB Form which can be populated from database programmatically, as well as can be printed.

Where can I get information about it. Is it correct method for printing or else.

Any Idea Please !!

Don't you use the OLE control to embed things like that?

Hi Killer42,

Though its quite dangerous name, I like to say Hi.

The answer to your ques. is yes, but I think either I'm using wrong method or there is more suitable way.

I have to prepare a bill format which will be populated through Access DB and I want to print it further.

A >> Because of "Bill" type of format cell by cell formating is quite tedious moreover I'm not even aware of formating properties/methods.

B >> I dont know how to print this OLE sheet.

Yest. night I had achieved some formattings like
Bold/Italic/Underline/FontSize/colors etc. But I'm still unable to do set Borders and Mergecells properties.

Don't worry about my handle - I hardly ever kill members of TheScripts. :)

I'm wondering whether it might be simpler to develop your front-end as a macro in Excel, rather than in standalone VB. It would certainly remove any issues around interfacing with Excel, anyway.
