Retrieving information about a folder from a remote Network Drive

I am trying to retrieve information from a remote Network drive using Visual Basic... however I am unable to retrieve any data. I'm trying to integrate into a ASP.Net page that already runs an SQL Query to a database.

I've learned you can't take info from folders. I have to figure out a new idea for those folders.

Ok. It's a shame it didn't work out.

Are you sure you're not overlooking anything? One would imagine that some sort of info should be available. But then I've never worked with ASP.

By the way, don't forget we also have an ASP forum which may be a good source of information in this area.

I talked to a few developers at my job and they said that the data would have to be organized better before data could be pulled. Since there is not way (at least to their knowledge ) to tell the program to stop at the folder level and pull the folder name off of the folder and send it to the web site.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try the reorganizing and that might help.
