Hi. I assume that you want to print from a DOS-based program. So, there's a way to redirect LPT1 from a network device... You can share your printer and type the following command fron the DOS prompt:

net use LPT1 \\computername\sharename

where computername is the name of your computer, and sharename is your printer's share name.

If you want to make this change permanent, you can add the option /Persistent:Yes at the end of the command:

net use LPT1 \\computername\sharename /Persistent:Yes

Now, test if it works by sending something to the printer's port...

At the DOS prompt, type:

echo Hello > LPT1
