Moving a sprite through a maze

MetalMartian
Hey guys just wondering what the best way would be to move a sprite through a maze where the width of the sprite is the same as the width of the tunnel it's moving through. Pretty much the same as the original pacman game. I've found some examples in C#, however I'm trying to code it in Visual basic .NET Studio 2003. I've tried Collide functions, and Bitmap.GetPixel functions, however I keep getting glitches. If someone could hit me back asap with some ideas that'd be great. Also if anyone wanted to try and convert the code from C# to VB .NET, that'd be awesome but might take a while. Thanks so much for your time.
