Reading from an Array

Hi Guys

I am learning VB to write a program for picking winners in horse races. The data available is in arrays. I have the field number of the array. In order to access different elements in the array, is it necessary for me to know the array name? Or can I assign any name to the field and try to access the elements?
Following is an example:
Field # 3 is Race # - There can be upto nine races on any given day. Can I say that Array name is “Race#”?
Field # 45 is Horse Name – There can be upto 16 horses in any given race. Can I say that the array name is “Horse Name”?

How do I write a code to Print Race # and horses running in the race?

Note: Right now I do manual calculations and the results are good!

You'll need to figure out away to compute wht yo need, but this'll help you read adn add to an array:

Please stay tuned, and ask questions. You shoud try adding adding the code, any code you are working on, even if it does not work. Plug in what you have from above link, then tell us what is happening:-)
