retreiving output of an oracle query in a file using vb6

Hi all,
i need to extract the output of an sql query into a local file in vb6.
kindly help me out.

Greetings and salutations, radhikar!

You've come to the right place. You'll need to post what you have working though if you need someone to see what's a miss.

Also, have you constructed a VB Gui just yet. I am sure you already know this, but VB must know which fields in Oracle will need to be loaded in specific Textboxes in VB:

Oracle:

UserID, LName, FName

VB:

Text1.Text, Text2.Text, Text3.Text

Thus:

UserID = Text1.Text, LName = Text2.Text, FName = Text3.Text

VB can handle your query through the form.
